Fort Sheridan sends residents back in time for Winter Fest 2016

Fort Sheridan Community Day 2016:
ur annual community celebration, it's always a hit!


Saturday, August 27 from 1-3pm,  Meet and mingle with your neighbors at Community Day in the Meadow (across the street from Midwest Young Artists, in the open area between Lyster/Ronan/Whistler).  Food and beverage are available for purchase from the Mean Wiener, treats from the ice cream truck, or bring your own picnic.  Fun activities for all ages including bounce houses, live band and a meet and greet with the Highland Park/Highwood Fire Departmentx!  We will also present a special recognition award to Tom Schmit who has faithfully served as our Neighborhood Watch in Fort Sheridan for 16 years.  Don’t miss this special tradition and celebration of our amazing community.  

Fort Sheridan Historical Society: 

Join us on Sunday, October 16th at Ginger's Restaurant in Highwood (254 Greenbay Rd) for a fabulous evening featuring, special guest speaker Mark Rooney, long time Fort Sheridan resident to talk about Fort Sheridan History.  We will also be debuting the "Tower Tour Video" and hosting a silent auction. Cost for the evening is $20 per Adult and $10 per Child.  Your reservation and payment is required ahead of time to reserve your seat.  Contact Donna Fitzgerald for more information,
